Project Background:
Jack Perrett is a prolific musician in south Wales and across his own music, covers and his band Eurekas he’s played at hundreds of venues for thousands of people.

Project Insight:
For his new release ‘Going Nowhere’, Jack wanted to develop a story-driven music that reflected the lyrics of the song. Directed by Daniel J. Harris and shot by DOP Steve Owen, the short film style music video delivers a high end stylised and cinematic music video.

Creative Approach:
Cinematic filmmaking:
– Using a variety of different coloured lighting techniques to add style and variety to the images when Jack is performing to camera the music videos mixes stylised performance with story.
– The music video was shot with a high end camera and highly experienced camera team in order to deliver a cinematic film.
– Making use of beautiful and cinematic locations around Cardiff Bay, the music video uses these landscapes and backdrops to add production value to the video. 

Outcome:
A very well received music video with several thousand views across various social media channels has helped Jack Perrett’s visibility within music to grow.
