Domaine de l'Ecu, [Muscadet] Granite Vin de France, 2024 New Product The Gallina vineyard in NeiveIn 2020 the Muscadet appellation panel judged Domaine de l'Ecu's wines atypical; rather than change the wine, the domaine started bottling them as Vin de France which is how one of the region's benchmark whites ended up legally a table wine. The domaine bottles its Melon de Bourgogne soil by soil, and this is the granite lot: a three hectare parcel of 45 to 55 year old vines on stony topsoil over two mica granite.
